You need a GitHub account that has been invited to LePosta and an AI client that supports remote MCP servers. This guide uses Claude; every other client follows the same three steps (see Connect a client).

Server URL

Connect and save your first note

1

Add LePosta as a connector

In claude.ai or the Claude desktop app, open Settings → Connectors (in some versions, Customize → Connectors), click Add custom connector and enter:Click Add, then Connect.
2

Approve and sign in with GitHub

LePosta shows a consent page with the name of the app that is asking for access. Click Permitir (Allow), then sign in to GitHub and authorize the LePosta app. LePosta only reads your public GitHub profile.
If you see “Esta cuenta de GitHub no tiene acceso a LePosta todavía”, your GitHub account is not invited yet. Ask the person who invited you to add your GitHub username.
3

Save a note

In a new chat, write:
The agent calls create_note and confirms something like:
4

Pick it up from anywhere

From any connected client, including the Claude mobile app, ask:
The agent calls list_inbox. To read one in full, ask it to open the posta by its title or id.
Connectors added on claude.ai sync to the Claude desktop and mobile apps automatically. Connect once per account, not once per device.

Try a handoff

If someone else in your LePosta group has signed in at least once, try:
The agent shows you the full handoff and waits for your confirmation before sending it. See Handoffs for the whole round trip.
