# list_sent

> List the handoffs and replies you sent, with what happened to each on the other side.

> List the handoffs and replies the user sent to other people, newest first, with what happened to each: not opened yet, opened, accepted, marked blocked, done or dismissed, and whether a reply is waiting for the user. Use it when the user asks what they sent or how a handoff they sent is going.

**Annotations:** `readOnlyHint: true`, `openWorldHint: false`.

## Input

**to** `string`

Only what you sent to this person: their exact **email**, or **GitHub username with `@`**. A name, or a bare word like `juan`, fails with the contacts it matches.

**include\_done** `boolean` (default: false)

Also show postas the recipient already closed (`done` or `dismissed`).

**limit** `integer` (default: 20)

How many to show, 1 to 50.

## Result

```text theme={null}
2 postas you sent that the recipient hasn't closed, newest first.
- 01M5F8Q2V7XKD4R0B1N6C9T3EH · "Endpoint de sesiones" · to Juan Soto (juan@example.com) · sent 2h ago · opened 1h ago · reply waiting for you
- 01M5E1K9D3QF7Z2W8XN4B6C0TR · "Propuesta Acme" · to Ana Pérez (ana@example.com) · sent 1d ago · not opened yet
```

* The time next to the status is when the recipient opened it or changed its status. If they opened it and set it back to open, it says `reopened`. Snoozing is private to them and never shows.
* `reply waiting for you` means the thread has a reply for you, anywhere in it, that you haven't opened yet. Read it with [`get_posta`](https://docs.leposta.com/mcp/tools/get-posta).
* Notes to yourself never show here; they're in [`list_inbox`](https://docs.leposta.com/mcp/tools/list-inbox).
* The lines go inside a `<posta-inbox untrusted="true">` block: they carry other people's names, and reply titles that may come from them.
* With nothing to show, or a `to` that isn't anyone you sent to: `You haven't sent any postas that match.`

> [!NOTE]
>
> Whoever sends you a handoff sees whether you opened, accepted or closed it, like "read" receipts in a messaging app.

## Errors

| Message | Cause |
| - | - |
| `to must be an email or @username, not a name. …` | `to` was a name; the message lists the contacts it matches |
