# Claude Code

> Add LePosta to Claude Code as a remote MCP server, sign in with /mcp, and optionally start every session knowing your pending postas.

## Add the server

Add LePosta at user scope so it's available in every project:

```bash theme={null}
claude mcp add --transport http -s user leposta https://mcp.leposta.com/mcp
```

Then open Claude Code, run `/mcp`, select **leposta** and sign in. Your browser opens LePosta's consent page and then GitHub.

## Use it

Claude Code loads LePosta's server instructions at session start, so it saves notes when you ask it to remember something and, inside a git repository, it fills in `project` and `refs` (repo, branch, files) on its own:

```text theme={null}
Leave a note: the expiry tests in sessions.test.ts are still missing.
```

Ask *"do I have postas for this project?"* to list them.

## Start sessions already knowing your postas

The optional [session start hook](/guides/session-start-hook.md) adds your pending postas for the current repository to every new session, without calling any tool. It needs a personal token and a few lines in `~/.claude/settings.json`.
